HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š

Today is Republic Day, the day when our Indian Constitution given by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar came into effect, and therefore today we have brought you a thought provoking read. You read it right yes ,WE, that  is me and my beloved mate Gopika Menon who always has a very broad straightforward perspective to her writings, she has questioned us all to rethink on our opinions this Republic Day.
So let us begin,
What is India? A unique land of vibrant colours, breathtaking landscapes, rich history, diversity, different languages, different religions but our hearts all engraved with being an Indian. Be it dark or white; Hindu or Muslim, Marathi or Punjabi..... We are all Indians at the end.
Sometimes we tend forget our core value called humanity and we believe to have lost our humane nature but in reality we could never lose it. We Indians are known to serve each other as a helping hand during time of need, irrespective of being strangers or enemies we see each others as solely humans and not only us but everyone must imbibe this value of seeing the human in us.
Now there are many people who always say 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' but eat tobacco and spit on our Mother India  remember that you are the one who are destroying this beautiful country. Some policies were made only for past necessities are still implemented .Here's an example, Like the provisions given to SC and ST, while making the Constitution of India, Dr. B.R Ambedkar clearly stated that as time changes, these policies must be changed. Earlier SC & ST people suffered a lot through social, religious, legal, political, economic, educational, and many more hardships. So many rules were curated to serve them their rights and now as the times have changed, there is not any such brutal discrimination existing unless and until we drive that discrimination ahead due to this an unfair advantage is provided to these categories. We are all aware with the insightful teachings of Dr. B.R Ambedkar, "I like the religion that teaches liberty ,equality and fraternity." Then why there is a change in rule for General category and Scheduled categories? Why there is an absence for equal rights in every field? We don't want to dive deep into this because we all know about these unspoken problems existing in our societies. Hence rights must be equal for all. Official forms must not have separate categories for General, SC, ST. We are all the same and we all deserve equal treatment except the real needy ones who are in desperate need for help like the old generation today who are left at their own risks after already living their life full of hurdles or an aspiring student who yearns to learn but is financially helpless, these people deserve special treatment because they have provided or can provide us with theirs skillsets to paint the picture of BETTER INDIA. These words didn't intend to offend anyone but were our thoughts which were needed to be expressed considering us as the responsible youth of tomorrow's India . Let's promote equality and deserved opportunities. Some regions may have struggles regarding it but having unfair advantage of it are not our integral values, these are not the teachings of our BHARATMATA

India is a beautiful country. It's culture rich, accepting, diverse and broad ,let's preserve it and pass it too next generations. Maintain its heritage just like our ancestors have. Let's not say 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' , 'Jai hind', for just two days in a year (Republic and Independence Day) say it till you breath your last as your true roots lie here. Let's maintain this patriotism of ours every day and respect that beautifully meant TIRANGA of ours. Remember this country we are living in today has faced loads of hurdles and lost millions may be billions of its sons and daughters, the freedom we experience today is at its cost. It was neither a one day's effort nor a single human's effort but there were the efforts of every single who cried and lost themselves to let serve  our country right .We are sleeping peacefully today just due to their courage and determination. India teaches us to never give up ,strive for a right change ,eliminate injustice and to let our voices be heard .Many soldiers stand on the border risking their lives to protect us. Their families undergo a lot of emotional turmoil. As our soldiers are protecting us, we must give there families the much needed emotional support.
Now India is progressing rapidly in all fields like Astronomy, Education, Technology, Medical fields and many more. It is our pride to be born in this wonderful and sacred land. So enjoy the freedom and the rights we have today. Don't misuse it rather use this freedom to think and implement some really needed changes and initiate better development for our country it's the least we can do.

"Jai Hind Jai Bharat"
